Doctrine
The Bible clearly and authoritatively teaches that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God maybe thoroughly furnished (equipped) into all good works (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).
We believe that upon this body of revealed truths, the City Mission Church has divinely and uncompromisingly instituted its work, teachings, and practices. Not only does it set the pace for any form of non-speculative arguments and reasoning of Scriptural origin, but it provides the Church with a self-defensive formula concerning its teachings, goals, and objectives.
We believe it must be conceived that the doctrines of the City Mission Church are the doctrines of Christ, which have been culminated in the eternal immutable word of God. It must be noted therefore that the fundamental statements of doctrinal application will be scripturally guarded and supported throughout this composition. Furthermore, we believe that these (beliefs) have been solemnly declared to be the pillars of divine purpose that will spontaneously transform the lives of the unsaved, and bring spiritual maturity in the lives of those who are religiously mature. This We Believe.
